Reliable labor standards and the protection of human rights in all company activities are essential to us at Vitesco Technologies. We follow the principle of freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. We foster clear regulations on working hours, wages, and social benefits, and drive a zero-tolerance policy on human rights violations including child labor, forced labor, and modern slavery, as well as any form of violence, harassment, and discrimination.
 
Through their crucial positions at Vitesco Technologies, both of our Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Human Rights & CSR Manager pioneer our path: The former, is responsible for the development and integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion into all functional areas of Vitesco Technologies, therefore driving our company’s progress in creating an environment where all talent can thrive to their fullest potential; and the latter, develops and continuously improves policies, processes, and global internal standards within our operations to anticipate, assess, and mitigate Human Rights risks.

Since the beginning of 2023, we have successfully implemented existing processes for monitoring and implementing labor standards and human rights due diligence in our management systems.
 
Against the background of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), the executive board approved a policy statement on respect of human rights. The statement describes our management approach, our human rights risks identified, and our expectations towards internal and external stakeholders and also includes a reference to our Integrity Line, whose procedure overview you can view here.

Those expectations and principles with regard to fair working conditions and diversity are further elaborated on in our Human Rights Policy, our Code of Conduct, and the Business Partner Code of Conduct. Those documents also comply with the standards of the Responsible Business Alliance, of which Vitesco Technologies has been a member of since 2021.
