    • Vitesco Technologies believes in the strategic advantage of diverse teams in all areas and at all levels

Regensburg, Germany / Auburn Hills, USA, July 30, 2021. Vitesco Technologies, a leading international provider of modern automotive drivetrain technologies and solutions for e-mobility, announced the hiring of Florencia Stanfield as the company’s Diversity Officer. Based in the North American headquarters of Auburn Hills, Michigan, U.S.A., Stanfield will have a global role with reporting relationships to Ingo Holstein, Chief Human Relations Officer for Vitesco Technologies, and Sandy Stojkovski, CEO for North America.

In her new role with Vitesco Technologies, Stanfield will be responsible for the development and integration of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into all functional areas of the company. She will lead the strategic implementation of programs and analytics that will help drive awareness and actions within the company. These include existing employee and supplier diversity initiatives, as well as the continued construction of enterprise capabilities in the form of employee resource groups, leadership development, instruction, and advisory resources. Stanfield will also help lead Vitesco’s strategic efforts to create additional opportunities for diverse talent acquisition, retention and development.

“I am really looking forward to jumping in with Vitesco Technologies at such a key time as it evolves its culture, rooted in the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion”, Florencia Stanfield says: “As a DE&I practitioner, I see this as a great opportunity with an organization that is poised for long-term success while having a leadership role in directing change and growth as the company rebrands itself and passionately pursues its vision as an employer of choice among automotive suppliers. It’s a testament to the Vitesco Technologies leadership team that its definition of success for the company includes creating a culture of belonging across its global footprint.”

Stanfield has extensive human resources experience across several prominent companies and industries including Catalent Pharma Solutions (life sciences); Dow Chemical Company (chemicals); Ecolab (specialty chemicals); and General Electric (power and water treatments). Before joining Vitesco Technologies, she was the Global Diversity and Inclusion Director for Catalent. Stanfield, 43, a native of Uruguay, holds an MBA from IAE Business School (Universidad Austral, Argentina) and a BA in Business Administration from Universidad de Montevideo, Uruguay. She has four children.

Stanfield joins Vitesco Technologies as it makes final preparations for its previously announced and anticipated spin-off from Continental AG later this year.
