Regensburg, September 23, 2021. Today, Thursday, the topping-out ceremony for the new Vitesco Technologies headquarters on Maxhüttenstrasse in Regensburg was held in the presence of Principal Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer and other guests. A week earlier, the company, a leading international provider of state-of-the-art drive technologies and e-mobility solutions, celebrated its IPO.
“With our mission ‘Powering Clean Mobility’, we have centered our business model clearly on sustainability,” CEO, Andreas Wolf, confirms. “Thanks to our smart, innovative technologies and electrification solutions, we are paving the way for cleaner, emission-free mobility. As sustainability is a central part of our strategy DIRECTION 2030, we have high requirements for our new corporate headquarters.”
The new building has consistently sustainable building management and an energy concept that uses only renewable energies, as André Kühnle, member of the management at the Regensburg site of Vitesco Technologies, explains:
For the new building, Vitesco Technologies is currently defining a pioneering office concept that is oriented towards the needs of employees. By taking advantage of the digitalization of the working world, it supports hybrid working methods, i.e. working in the office and in a virtual space.
The new corporate headquarters will comprise four buildings and house a total of around 1,000 employees, with offices, laboratories, a bistro and conference areas. The Executive Board will also have its offices here. There will be numerous charging stations for electric vehicles and more than 120 bicycle parking spaces. The new building had become necessary because there is not enough space for all Vitesco Technologies employees in Regensburg at the Siemensstrasse location. Completion is planned for 2022.
